Hayliner

Since the introduction of round bales and more importantly large square bales, most of today’s straw and hay is baled into larger packages. However, for a number of farming and leisure related activities, small rectangular bales are still the ideal solution. They can be handled manually and high quality fodder used in the equine industry is very well conserved in small rectangular bales. New Holland, historically the first brand in small rectangular balers, today offers two models that have the right features for your hay and straw operations.

CONFIDENCE IN THE POWER TRANSFER

Producing high-quality bales consistently, season after season, demands robust and reliable drivetrains. New Holland’s craftsmanship and experience are evident in the dimensions of the shafts, chains, and gears, as well as the quality of the steel used. To minimize stress on functional components, the baler’s construction includes a drawbar directly connected to the axle. Additionally, the “power pivot support” for the three-joint PTO ensures safe operation during sharp turns.

CLEAN FIELDS

Efficiently gathering crop, whether it's short straw from a wide windrow left by a large combine harvester or the smallest, dried hay leaves, is made easy with the Super Sweep™ pick-up on Hayliner balers. This system features curved tines, close tine spacing, flanged tine guards, and an effective floating wind-guard, all of which contribute to a swift and clean pick-up action.

EQUAL BALES MADE FOR EASY STACKING

Compact bales formed from equal wads are easier to handle and maintain their shape for longer. The exclusive New Holland rotary feeder system, which includes feeder rotors and a packer fork, is gentle on the crop while ensuring a steady crop flow and consistent bale quality. The length of each bale remains uniform, thanks to the optimal positioning of the metering wheel. Adjusting the bale length is straightforward with the trip stop on the bale metering arm.

PROVEN OVERALL STRENGTH

Count on the knotter's precision, season after season! Hard-surface materials safeguard the driving gears from wear, ensuring long-term accuracy. The robust plunger maintains straight guidance even after extensive use, thanks to a combination of sealed roller bearings and high-strength steel slides, which facilitate quick and easy adjustments.

STILL LEADING THE WAY

New Holland was the pioneer in fitting an automatic tying knotter on a baler, transforming baling into a one-man operation. Since this groundbreaking innovation, the company has sold over 900,000 small rectangular balers worldwide, manufactured in factories across America, Europe, and Australia. This achievement laid the foundation for New Holland's success as the world's largest harvester manufacturer.
